Chuck Staley Owner

Chuck retired from the US Army in 2002.  He is an 82nd Airborne Division combat veteran.  He is a life member of the VFW, 82nd ABN Div. Association, and DAV. During the day he works as the Director of Technology for Central Catholic High School .  He earned his MBA from University of Phoenix and a BSBA in Computer Information Systems from Hawaii Pacific University, Honolulu, Hawaii.  He has completed many wine and enology educational courses and has poured wine at many charity fundraisers and wine events all across northern California.

Jill Smith  Wine Associate

We would like to welcome our first team member to our shop, Jill Smith.  She has over six years experience in the wine industry including working as an independent contractor for E&J Gallo on a descriptive tasting panel.  Some of you may remember her from the Wine Shoppe on Standiford Avenue, and most recently as the wine shop steward for Tresetti's Wine World and World Caffe.

Jill has been very active in wine industry tasting events. She has  an extensive knowledge of local and foreign wine by living and travelling abroad. Jill specializes in wine education for our staff and customers.  Her past experience includes restaurant staff wine knowledge, training and assisting in wine list development for new restaurants..Jill holds an AA in Liberal Arts from MJC and a BA in Psychology from Chapman University. She is continuing her education by pairing psychology with wine!

Laura Staley Owner

Laura most recently poured wine in the tasting room at Olde Lockeford Winery in Lodi at the Vino Piazza. She has also worked at the Wine Shoppe on Standiford Avenue. Laura holds an AA in Liberal arts from the University of Hawaii.

Laura has completed many wine and enology educational courses and has poured wine at many charity fundraisers and wine events all across northern California.
